What a fantastic game against Okehampton 3s, a 5-0 victory!

We felt strong from the start, but as usual the goals were alluding us. Thankfully Blanche secured our first goal to take us to half time. We were hoping to keep this lead with everyone contributing , fearful they might break and equalise but Blanche had other ideas and secured her second goal. Then Bertie, not to be out done by her sister fired in number 3. Hannah then wanted a piece of the action with our forth goal late in the second half. We'd had some exciting short corner opportunities, but whilst Ginny was on the post, she failed magnificently to deflect any of the 3 chances into goal. However, right on the whistle of time we were award another short corner, that was then changed to a penalty stroke. I don't know why as my grasp of the rules is rudimentary at best. Hannah stepped forward, having never, in her illustrious hockey career, ever taken a flick. She was calm, collected and absolutely awesome!

5-0 in the sunshine and much deserved.

Well done team x
