Another difficult game for the Men’s 2XI against a strong Taunton Vale 3XI side. Injuries across the club meant the 2XI struggled to get a team together this week so a massive thank you goes out to the Men’s 3XI players that stepped up to play this weekend. Torbay made a good account of themselves and put in an spirited performance in a tough game. Lennox made some outstanding saves in goal and rightfully won the Man of the Match vote this week.

The final scoreline was 12-0 to the hosts who scored some excellent goals and proved why they sit in second place in the league. Despite the score it was an enjoyable game in some lovely weather (for once) and the 2XI are looking forward to next weekend’s game against bottom of the table Taunton Vale 5XI as their relegation fight continues!
