Torbay Hockey Club has been a constant in my life, from the early days of just turning up for a laugh to now somehow being trusted with the role of Captain for the 1s.
Over the years, the club and the people around me believed in me, pushed me, and somehow turned that slightly chaotic version of me into a better player and a leader. That journey through the teams into the 1s, and now being captain, is something I’m incredibly proud of. Everyone who’s been part of that journey has played a role in shaping me, and it’s created a proper family feel that makes this club so special.
